Saint Clair County Commissioners Thursday night were updated on a variety of development concerns. Commissioner Jeff Bohm capped off a development discussion with the latest proposals on the multi-million dollar improvements expected for the St. Clair Inn. As for the convention center hats off were given to Port Huron City Manager James Freed who was instrumental in getting a recent managers meeting at the center. The hope, Bohm says, is that the more officials from across the state see the center the more likely conventions will call to visit here. Commissioners also last night placed a couple of ballot proposals on the August ballot which would continue millage funding for roads and parks. A 13-thousand dollar contract was also approved for landscape planning at the Columbus Township Park.
