Bizarre Ending, Tough Loss

It went from being another amazing come back win for the Lions, to one of the most bizarre loses ever at Ford Field on Sunday.  The Atlanta Falcons beat Detroit 30-26 in a strange finish.  The Lions Golden Tate was ruled to have scored a go ahead touchdown with eight seconds left in the game, but the call was overturned by video review.  Under NFL rules an automatic ten second run off had to be enforced, so the Lions could not run another play and the game ended.  Lost in controversy was three interceptions by the Lions defense off Matt Ryan.  Ryan had thrown over 300 passes in the last nine games without being intercepted, but Glover Quin returned one pick for a touchdown, and Darius Slay added two more interceptions.  Detroit (2-1) will travel to Minnesota next Sunday to face the Vikings.
