Patrons to an Algonac restaurant may have been exposed to the Hepatitis A virus. The St. Clair County Health Department is investigating a case of Hepatitis A, related to an ill food worker at the Algonac Flaming Grill restaurant. Symptoms of the virus include fatigue, nausea, and fever. Guests who ate at the Algonac Flaming Grill between October 6th and 20th may have been in contact with the virus. Those who believe they have been exposed can receive a free vaccination Monday afternoon from 2 to 6pm at the Algonac Lions Club. The health department says Hepatitis A is a preventable disease, if you are vaccinated. More information on the virus can be found at scchealth.co.
