A four car pileup Wednesday morning closed Interstate 94 west of Marysville. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department says a driver struck a median guardrail shortly before 7am Wednesday morning, causing a chain reaction of crashes on eastbound I-94 between Wadhams Road and Gratiot Road in St. Clair Township. Deputies say a vehicle driven by a 58 year old Port Huron Man veered off the road, striking a guard rail. His vehicle was then struck by another vehicle, with two following vehicles rear ending each other. All four drivers were transported to area hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The Sheriff’s department says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the initial crash.
