The Detroit Tigers have traded second baseman Ian Kinsler to the Los Angeles Angels for two prospects.  Kinsler is coming off a season where he hit just .239, but had 22 home runs and 52 RBI.  The Tigers get center fielder Troy Montgomery, who was the 20th ranked prospect in the Angels orginization and who has been a .280 hitter in four minor league seasons, as well as right handed pitcher Wilkel Hernandez.  Hernandez is just 18 and is still in rookie ball.  He was rated the 24th best prospect in the Angels system.
