If you see a heightened police presence at Port Huron High School this weekend, or at Port Huron Northern next weekend, don’t be alarmed… as it’s just a training by Port Huron Police. The training is called A.L.I.C.E. and it stands for Alert, Lock Down, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate, and is the latest standard for law enforcement when responding to active shooter events. Sargent Doug Decker of the Port Huron Police explains what you might see this weekend at Port Huron High. Several agencies from across the region will be participating in the training the next two weekends.
