The Minnesota Twins opened a four game series against the Detroit Tigers with a 15-8 win on Thursday night in Minnesota. Logan Forsythe had five hits, scored three runs and knocked in two to pace the Twins attack. Jorge Polanco (4 RBI) and Miguel Sano (3 RBI) added home runs. The Tigers belted four home runs in the game as Nick Castellanos (2 RBI), Mikie Mahtook (2 RBI), James McCann (2 RBI) and Niko Goodrum (RBI) all went deep. Game two of the series is set for Friday night at Target Field.
