A four game winning streak ended on Thursday night for the Red Wings, who lost 2-1 in Ottawa. Michael Rasmussen scored the loan Detroit goal, but was stopped on a penalty shot with 4 minutes left in the game. Andreas Athanasiou was also stopped on a penalty shot earlier in the third period. The Wings play in New Jersey on Saturday afternoon.
