Two Sanilac county residents are recovering after a crash yesterday morning in Washington Township. According to Sanilac County Sheriff’s Deputies, 37 year old Joshua Wright of Applegate and his 63 year old passenger were traveling westbound on Applegate Road when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions. Their minivan struck a utility pole and went airborne, causing minor injuries to the driver.Wright was treated on the scene and taken to an area hospital. The passenger was unharmed. Both were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
