Two people arrested, heroin seized, by St. Clair County DTF

Two people have been arrested following an investigation by the St. Clair County Drug Task Force. According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, on Tuesday an investigation by the DTF led to a traffic stop on Fred Moore Highway west of King Road in China Township. A search of the vehicle revealed $1100 worth of heroin. A 68 year old Mt. Clemens man who was the driver of the vehicle was arrested and taken to the St. Clair County Jail. A female passenger was released. The suspect faces charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, maintaining a drug vehicle and being a habitual offender. The Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol and U.S. Border Patrol K9 Unit assisted in executing the traffic stop on the suspect vehicle.
