According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, a man’s body was found Wednesday morning off the shore of Harsens Island. Clay Township Police received a call from homeowners who discovered the body floating in a cut off the North Channel of the St. Clair River shortly before 10:30 Wednesday morning. An autopsy will be conducted to try to determine cause and manner of death, and to try to make positive identification of the man.
