Theaters are Telling Parent to NOT Bring Kids to See Logan

Deadpool was a monster at the box office this time last year raking in a whopping $760M worldwide. It’s not only the highest grossing X-men movie in the franchise, but this highest grossing R-rated movie of all time PERIOD. This proves that adult superhero movies can be ridiculously (on a few differently levels) successful.

Funny Deadpool scene you should NOT look up at work.

With that in mind, 20th Century Fox decided to finally give us the brutal representation of Wolverine we’ve all been waiting for with Logan coming out this Friday. Loosely based on the comic miniseries Old Man Logan, the movie focuses on the fallout from the previous X-men films while Wolverine sans the healing factor has to deal with some new threats. Logan is certified fresh at RottenTomatoes, and it’s #3 on ComicBook.com’s anticipated rankings for comic book movies with a 4.3 out of 5, so there’s every chance that this could topple Deadpool as the new best comic book movie from 20th Century Fox.

                                     Aw heart-warming, right? Haha NOPE.

While your kids might be chomping at the bit to see Hugh Jackman be the best he is at what he does at the Krafft 8, you’re going to want to pump the breaks and put on your parenting pants. Theatres across the nation know there will be children who want to see this flick, and they are urging parents to say no! The Alamo Drafthouse chain has put this warning up on their social media accounts:

                                                                              *WARNING: COMMON SENSE ALERT!*

And they are absolutely correct. This isn’t a marketing ploy–Logan is NOT for children. Letting your kids go see this at your own risk. And don’t be one of those people who post about how inappropriate this was for your little ones, because you’ve been warned. Also, you’ll look pretty stupid.
