A Marysville Foam producer being acquired by an Illinois based foam manufacturer. Rex Performance Products on Wills Street in Marysville has been purchased by Pregis LLC for an undisclosed amount. Don Tate, president and CEO of Rex Performance Products will join Pregis as well. PP’s engineered foam products have been used for protective packaging solutions for a wide variety of products and markets. The Rex product line includes polyethylene foam and laminated planks which provide wide performance attributes including military, thermal performance, flame-retardant, multi-density and anti-static.
