Three arrested in area break-ins

The Port Huron Police Department in conjunction with the Michigan State Police is investigating several home invasions throughout the thumb area. On Friday July 27th, a break-in occurred in the 7200 block of State Road in Burtchville Township. The home invasion was linked to several other similar incidences in St. Clair, Sanilac, and Tuscola Counties. Three men were arrested, including a 19 year old from Decker, a 32 year old from Yale, and a 39 year old from Croswell. The suspects are currently being housed in the St. Clair County Jail on home invasion and possession of stolen property charges. Some of the stolen property has been recovered, including over a dozen guns.
