Sheriff Tim Donnellon has named a new Undersheriff for St. Clair County. Matthew Paulus was tapped this week to take the spot of retired Undersheriff Tom Buckley. Buckley retired December First and has accepted a position with the Michigan Gaming commission. Paulus has over 30 years experience with the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office. He began his career as a road patrol deputy and worked his way to the rank of Captain. “I am very pleased that Matt accepted the appointment as Undersheriff,” said Sheriff Donnellon. “He has performed nearly every duty imaginable during his career and I am sure he will use that knowledge to be a great asset as Undersheriff.”
