For the second night in a row the Pittsburgh Pirates needed 10 innings to beat the Tigers, this time 3-2 in Detroit. Ronny Rodriguez and John Hicks had RBI for the Tigers, who have lost five in a row. Detroit will open a four game series against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park.
