U-S Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan is weighing in, following a meeting between President Trump and congressional leaders. The meeting took place on Tuesday. Stabenow says she was glad to meet with the President to discuss the “urgent need to invest in our nation’s infrastructure.” She says she told President Trump that there is a critical need to update Michigan’s roads, bridges, rural high-speed internet and more. Stabenow says any infrastructure proposal should also protect American workers. She added, ” It’s time to get serious about rebuilding America, growing our economy, and creating good jobs in Michigan and across the country.”
