The Michigan Wolverines are one win away from their first College World Series title since 1962, after beating Vanderbilt on Monday night 7-4 in game one of a best of three series in Omaha, Nebraska.  Tiger’s draft pick Jimmy Kerr belted a two run home run for the Wolverines, who also got a home run from Joe Donovan, and three hits from Jack Blomgren.  Michigan’s Tommy Henry pitched eight and two thirds innings, and struck out eight to earn the win.  Game two is on Tuesday, if needed a third game would be played on Wednesday night.
