A Macomb County man was injured in a weekend ATV accident near Lexington. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office, a 27 year old Sterling Heights Man was operating a four wheel ATV on Lakewood Road in Worth Township when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle and was ejected. He was treated at the scene by Croswell EMS and was taken to a Port Huron Hospital for further treatment. Sheriff’s Deputies say alcohol and careless driving are believed to be factors in the accident and that the man was not wearing a helmet. Charges could be forwarded to the Sanilac County Prosecutor’s office once investigations are complete.
