Michigan gas prices have fallen about a dime over the past week, according to AAA of Michigan. The auto club’s latest gas price survey shows the current statewide average daily gas price o f $2.64 a gallon on average. That’s 11 cents less than a week ago, 23 cents less than this time last month, and about 36 cents less than this time last year. Across the state, the cheapest fuel can be found in the Grand Rapids area and the most expensive gasoline is in Ann Arbor. Locally, Port Huron area pumps are, on average, $2.68 a gallon. The auto club says increased gasoline supplies are pushing down gas prices statewide. As total domestic stocks continue to outpace demand, motorists will likely continue to see pump prices drop this summer.
