String of break-ins prompt warning from Sheriff

St. Clair County Sheriff’s Deputies are providing a word of warning to residents in the Kimball Township area after a rash of breaking over the past week. According to the office of Sheriff Tim Donnellon, a suspect had broken into three homes over the past week, each time entering through an unlocked door or window. The incidents occurred at homes in the 7000 block of Sparling, the 1500 block of Leland, and the 5000 block of Ravenswood Road. In each case valuables from inside the homes have been stolen. Authorities recommend locking all windows and doors when you leave the home and to call 9-1-1 to report any suspicious activity. At this time, the suspect involved in the three break-in’s has not been found. Those with any information are asked to call the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office at 985-8115
