Don’t be alarmed if you see police, fire, and paramedics in and around a Marysville church this weekend. Multiple local agencies along with local hospitals will be hosting a hostile event exercise at the Marysville United Methodist Church tomorrow morning. The training event is expected to begin at 7am Saturday and will simulate an active shooter. Authorities also say there will be increased activity at McLaren Port Huron, Lake Huron, and Ascension River District hospitals tomorrow as a part of the exercise. Normal business operations at the hospitals will not be interrupted as a result of the training.
