Sandusky police say a 12 year old boy was stuck and injured while trick or treating last night. Police say it happened on west Sanilac Avenue near Lamotte Street. Witness reports indicated the boy was waiting for an eastbound vehicle to pass and then ran across the street without noticing another westbound vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital and later transferred to a Flint area hospital for treatment of critical injuries. He is listed in stable condition. Sandusky police say low light and weather conditions contributed to the crash and the driver is not believed to be at fault.
