A local hospital says they are still open to serve those with medical emergencies, whether or not they are COVID-19 related. Lake Huron Medical Center says emergency room is open and ready to serve anyone who is in need. “Patients should not delay care when needed, especially for conditions where early diagnosis and treatment can be lifesaving, such as heart attack and stroke,” spokesperson Lisa Beedon said in a statement to WPHM. McLaren Port Huron Hospital’s Emergency Room also remains open. According to McLaren, patients in the ER may have one visitor who is expected to leave once the patient is either discharged or admitted.
