The number of people who have died locally from the coronavirus remained unchanged Thursday. New COVID-19 cases in St. Clair County increased by 13 while the amount of recoveries increased by eight. There are 375 cases across the county, 298 are reported as recovered. In Sanilac County, one new case was reported Thursday bringing the total to 35 positive individuals. Three new cases were confirmed in Lapeer County, bringing the total there to 170. The statewide COVID-19 count exceeded 41,000 people Thursday and the number of deaths approached 3800.
