A man who dived off of a boat and into shallow water in Lake St. Clair Sunday has died. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s office says a 50 year old from Farmington Hills was out out on a boat with friends in Little Muscamoot Bay in Clay Township. The man dove off the boat from about six feet in the air into about 3 ½ feet of water. Friends attempted CPR and he was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Clay Township Police, Clay Township Fire and Rescue and the Macomb County Sheriff Marine Division also assisted at the scene of the accident, which remains under investigation.
