Port Huron residents can no longer park their vehicles along city owned streets overnight as of today. The Port Huron Police Department says they will begin giving out warnings to motorists who violate the city’s snow ordinance, and will issue their first citations this weekend.  Sergeant Doug Decker tells WPHM violators could face a $20 fine. “I know some locations are difficult but start bringing those cars off the road,” said Decker.  “If not, the snow plows can’t do their job.” He adds that cars cannot be parked on the boulevard between the sidewalk and the road. Decker also says vehicles cannot block a sidewalk. The snow ordinance is in effect between 2:30am and 6am daily between December 1st and March 31st.
