St. Clair Township crash injures four

Four individuals are recovering following a two car crash Tuesday afternoon in St. Clair Township. According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s office, a westbound car reportedly went through a red light at the intersection of Wadhams and Gratiot Roads. The vehicle was struck by a pickup truck that was traveling northbound on Wadhams. The driver of the car, a 21 year old pregnant woman, was ejected from the vehicle. She is currently in serious condition and is recovering at an area hospital. Her 26 year old male passenger and one year old child were also injured and taken to an area hospital. The driver of the pickup, a 52 year old man from Macomb Township, was taken to an area hospital for treatment and later released. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
