All regions of the Province of Ontario will re-enter lock down this coming Saturday if they haven’t done so already. The announcement was made yesterday by Premier Doug Ford. Ontario’s number of COIVD-19 cases has increased by nearly 8-percent over the past week and hospital admissions are up. Describing it as an “emergency brake” Ford says the restrictions will prohibit indoor public events and social gatherings as well as indoor and outdoor dining, among other things. Sarnia has already been in the “grey-lockdown” phase for the past several weeks due to rising coronavirus cases. The Ontario-wide restrictions are expected to last for at least four weeks.
