Vantage Point farmers market resumes Saturday

Saturday marks the return of a sure sign of summer in the Blue Water Area. The Vantage Point Farmers Market will be returning tomorrow and Liz Mathews from Acheson Ventures tells WPHM  the event will be going from twice a week to once a week this year. “We’re only doing Saturdays because we found that of the two days a week, we did better on the Saturdays,” says Matthews. “That gives the farmers some extra days to work in the field.” Mathews says you can expect to see more vendors as a result, with upwards of 30 expected on any given week. As far as what you can expect to find at the market this time of year, Matthews says there will be  plants for sale until fruits and vegetables come into season. Other items such as maple syrup, honey, soaps, and even CBD are being sold at the market this year. The vantage point farmers market runs from 8am to 2pm every Saturday through October 26th.
