The price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline has fallen again in Michigan. Drivers are now paying on average $3.19 a gallon which is six cents less than this time last month but still over a dollar more than this time last year. According to Triple A of Michigan, demand is starting to fall as the summer driving season comes to an end and total domestic crude oil stockpiles have increased. The most expensive gas is in the Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor areas, while the least expensive is in Lansing and Grand Rapids. Port Huron area pumps are asking about $3.19 a gallon
