One was injured during a Monday night crash in Sanilac County’s Evergreen Township. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s office, a 70 year old Hubbard Lake man was driving a Jeep eastbound on Deckerville Road when he reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign at Van Dyke. The Jeep struck a 20 year old Lexington woman who was driving a car southbound on Van Dyke. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. No injuries were reported for the 70 year old man and his 29 year old passenger. Sheriffs deputies say all subjects were wearing seat belts and airbags deployed for both vehicles.
