The Blue Water Bridge as of 12am this morning is now open to non-essential Canadian traffic after being closed for the better part of two years. Those hoping to enter the U.S. will need to provide proof of vaccination from an approved COVID-19 vaccine. There is no negative test requirement to enter the United States, however those re-entering Canada would need to show a negative PCR test taken within the past 72 hours. Customs and Border Protection officials are asking travelers to be patient with them as they do expect delays at the border.
