Council could approve rehab of sewer pumping station

Port Huron City Council meets tonight in a regular session meeting. Among the items on the agenda is the acceptance of a $1.9-million dollar bid from Boddy Construction for work on the 16th Street sanitary sewer pumping station. They will also consider a bid from Trojan Development Company for work at the city’s water filtration plant. Council is also poised to accept a bid from On Duty Gear for sixty new gas mask kits and accessories for the police department. Council will also be asked whether or not to approve a proposal from FK Engineering Associates for short term canal bank armoring along the Black River Canal. Port Huron City Council meets tonight at 7pm at the Municipal Office Center.
