A Monday evening crash injured two near Lexington. The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office reporting a two car collision shortly before 6pm along Lakeshore Road near Walding Road in Lexington Township. A 65 year old Lexington man had stopped in the northbound lane of Lakeshore attempting to make a left hand turn. He was rear ended by an 81-year old Harbor Beach man who was also traveling northbound. They were both treated at the scene by Croswell EMS and taken to a Port Huron hospital for further treatment of injures. Authorities say alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash.
