The International Silver Stick tournament continues the next two weekends here in Port Huron. This weekend sees the finals for Bantam A, Pee Wee A, Midget A, and Squirt A teams from across the country. Next weekend features the final for the AA teams. Nick Prevost is the tournament Co-Director says our Canadian neighbors won’t be participating in this year’s tournament, but that hasn’t stopped other American teams from coming from places as far away as the west coast.

“It’s a smaller tournament than in the past with us having not as many teams,” Prevost told WPHM. “You’ll get to see a few teams that normally don’t come, including three from California this year… LA, San Diego, San Jose.”

Finals will held at Glacier Point and the McMorran Ice Arena. Prevost adds that this year marks the 60th year for the Silver Stick tournament. More information on the Port Huron finals can be found at https://silverstick.org.
