PHPD to auction unclaimed stolen property

If you believe you have fallen victim to a theft last fall and have yet to have your property returned, the Port Huron Police Department wants to hear from you. Last September, police recovered a large amount of stolen property, many items of which have gone unclaimed. Those items include scaffolding planks, furnace parts, tires, leaf blowers, air compressors, tool boxes, power tools, and hand tools The items are currently being held by police, but will be sent to auction on April 14th if still unclaimed. Those who may believe an items of theirs was stolen can contact the Port Huron Police Department at 810-984-9711 and speak to the property manager to describe the item in further detail. If it is determined that he stolen item belongs to you, an appointment will be made for pickup.
