Starting next week getting to downriver areas of St. Clair County might become more challenging. On Monday, work on two separate sections of M-29 will begin. The Michigan Department of Transportation will resurface a section of roadway from Yankee to River Road, between Marysville and St. Clair. The second portion of the project is in East China Township from Remer Road to the Marine City limit. Drivers can expect single lane closures during the project, which is expected to last six weeks. The total cost between the two projects totals nearly $2 million.
