Port Huron Museums seeking historic home photos

A new exhibit opening in September has curators encouraging the community to participate. “Built to Last”, the new temporary display coming to the Mezzanine level of the museum’s Carnegie Center will take a look at historic homes of the Port Huron area. The exhibit will feature photos and artifacts from the museum’s collection as well as submitted photos and stories from local residents. Museum staff are looking for homes fifty years or older that highlight a specific style, or that connect to the lives of significant local individuals or historical events. The “Built to Last” exhibit is set to open September first.

Anyone wishing to participate can submit materials online by August 18th at http://phmuseum.org/historichomes.
