Suspect found after Marlette break in

A suspect is in custody following a breaking and entering at a Marlette gas station early yesterday morning. Marlette Police responded to the Speedy Q Market at Main Street and Marlette Roads just before 3am yesterday. Upon arrival, the suspect fled on foot and after a short chase, authorities lost sight of them in the dark. Marlette police were assisted by a K-9 unit from Tuscola County. The suspect was located about 12 hours later after Marlette Police shared pictures to social media of the individual brandishing a hand gun. No further details about the incident or suspect has been shared by authorities.
