The numbers are in from last week’s Community Roof Sit to benefit the Child Abuse and Neglect Council. Q-Country 107 helped raise $162,000 dollars to support the work of the CAN Council. That’s down slightly from last year’s record setting total of $179,000 but still above this year’s fundraising goal of $150,000. From September 10th thru 15th, WSAQ morning show host Matt Markham lived on top of the MiMutual Building in Downtown Port Huron raising funds and awareness for child abuse prevention and advocacy.
