According to AAA this morning, pump prices are bouncing around $3.55 on average for regular unleaded. That’s down 12 cents from the 2024 record high of $3.67 we had in mid-March. The auto group says despite steady decline, gas prices around the state could start to increase as the week go on due to tighter demand and a decrease in domestic fuel supply. If you’re looking to fill up a little cheaper this week, you may have to head to Traverse City or Flint where pump prices are the least expensive in the state right now at around $3.44 and $3.47 per gallon on average respectively.
