A price hike is about to go into effect for Canadian-bound drivers. Starting Sunday, the toll to cross the Blue Water Bridge is set to go up by a dollar, raising it from $3.00 to $4.00 per standard car, pickup or SUV. Personal vehicles with more than two set of wheels, RV’s or campers for example, will need to pay four dollars for each axle above two. The rates for trucks and busses is also increasing from $3.25 to $4.25 per axle. This is the first of two toll increases MDOT has planned, with a second dollar price hike scheduled for December first of next year.
