Two people are in custody following an investigation into the sale of methamphetamines in Port Huron. The St. Clair County Drug Task Force arrested 34-year-olds, Chad Hamilton and Ashley Quant-Neitzke during a traffic stop on Tuesday night. A subsequent search of their home in the 2300 block of White Street led to the discovery of a large amount of meth and cash, along with drug paraphernalia, and materials used in the sale of narcotics. Both suspects were on parole for prior drug-related offenses and are now facing felony charges for the manufacturing, possession, and sale of methamphetamine, as well as maintaining a drug house. Hamilton and Quant-Neitzke are currently being held at the St. Clair County Jail and are scheduled to appear in court again on February 25th.
