The McMorran Pavilion will soon be handed over to the St. Clair county Community College, but before they tear up the ice and convert the property into a field house/gymnasium, Port Huron Minor Hockey will hold a Farewell Party first. Every year a coaches party is held around this time, says Jim McPhee with the Hockey Association, but with hockey soon to be gone from the Pavilion they decided to call it a farewell party. The party will be held on March 19th,from 6 pm through midnight with a dinner at 7. Tickets will be available until March 13th, and can be purchased at the McMorran Box Office or at local area businesses. McPhee encourages everyone to come to the party, because next time they see the pavilion it may be a basketball court.
