The Economic Development Alliance of St. Clair County will be holding there Semi-Annual meeting on February 9th. The event will be held at Alexander’s in Marysville. Dan Casey, Executive Director for the EDA, tells us the meeting is usually a lunch meeting and is the second largest event for the EDA, except for their Mackinac Party. This year’s event will be a little different though. With U.S. Representative Candice Miller retiring from office this year, Casey says the EDA is using this meeting as a forum for candidates vying for Miller’s seat. Candidates include Senator Phil Pavlov, Paul Mitchell and Alan Sanborn. Casey notes that around 40-60 seats will be available to the public. Tickets are $30 and required for the event and can be purchased at the EDA’s website: edascc.com.
