Michigan voters will be heading to the polls on March 8th, for Michigan’s Presidential Primary. Candidates from both parties have made stops in the state over the past few months and now voters will decide which candidate represent their interests best. U.S. Representative Candice Miller for Michigan’s 10th District says she believes Donald Trump is set to win the republican nomination because Trump resonates with voters who are fed up with the traditional Washington rhetoric. Miller says Trump has high numbers in Michigan probably because of his stance on trade issues, particularly currency manipulation by U.S. trading partners. She notes that “Bringing jobs back to America” is a message that resonates in our neighborhoods. Recent poll numbers in Michigan show Trump having more than a 20 point lead over his fellow republicans.
