A bicycle and pick-up truck injury accident occurred Tuesday afternoon in Sanilac County. Deputies say a 63-year old was knocked off his bike when the 80-year-old driver of a pick-up truck got close enough for the side view mirror to hit him along County Farm Road in Lexington Township. The victim, a Croswell resident, was transported to a local hospital for injuries. The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department says alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the mishap, which remains under investigation.
