The Tigers six game win streak ended, while their ten game losing streak to Cleveland continued on Monday night, in a 5-3 loss to the Indians. Mike Napoli broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the seventh, with a two run home run for Cleveland. Nick Castellanos (two RBI), and Steven Moya hit home runs for the Tigers. Game two of a three game series is set for Tuesday night. Before Monday’s game Detroit put pitcher Jordan Zimmerman on the 15-day DL with a neck injury. During Monday’s game, Tigers’ starter Daniel Norris left in the third inning with a strained right oblique. Norris will be given an MRI on Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury.
