Chicago Mission took the Gold Division title on Sunday at McMorran Arena in Port Huron. Mission defeated the New Jersey Colonials in the finals 4-3 in overtime. Tournament host Little Caesars, which featured four local players, lost in the quarterfinals in double overtime to the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite. In the Silver Division, the Lambton Sting, stung the Michigan Ice Hawks in shootout 4-3. The Ice Hawks featured Chad Noetzel of Port Huron, and Brendan Vettraino of Algonac on their roster. This was the four straight year for the Bantam Major hockey tournament at McMorran.
